14u Team Information

About our 14u Teams

Our 14u is our biggest group. It is a great opportunity for 7th and 8th graders to train on skill development and find their love and commitment to volleyball. This age group will have the largest learning curve as we are introducing different systems as well as positional training. Club for this age group is also a great way to prepare for high school.

We will offer a travel team, intermediate skilled teams and beginning skill level teams.

Our Goals for our 14u Teams:

Develop fundamental and technical skills by position
Speed up the game and competitiveness
Introduction of offense and defense systems

Costs will vary by team and be posted mid October.

Practice and Tournaments:

Teams will practice for 2 hours twice a week from mid November through the last weekend in April. Each practice players will spend 1 hour technical training on skills with our Technical Coach Didier Hemelsoet and coaches and one hour team development.
Teams will compete in 1-2 tournaments a month along with a two day regional competition at the end of season.
CEVA Power League Tournaments can be as far North as Vancouver and South as Roseburg. Tournament locations are posted a few days before the tournament based on CEVA's availability and teams seedings. Tournaments typically begin play at 8am and can run as late as 6pm.
All teams will practice until the last tournament on their schedule.
14 Elite Travel Team will play in two tournaments outside of Oregon.
