Age Group Explanation!

The date you use to determine your child's age group is Sept. 1.  In order to play in a certain age level your child must remain that age through Sept. 1 of 2012.  So if your child is 14 now but will turn 15 sometime before Sept. 1, 2012 she will play in the 15/16 age group.  Generally, 7th and 8th grade students play 13/14's, 9th and 10th grade students play 15/16's and 11th and 12th grade students play 17/18's.  If your child is old for their grade level we can apply for an age waiver to let them play with their classmates rather than move up an age level.  If you are in that situation please let us know before or at tryouts so we can get you the appropriate paperwork.
